One of the most common customisation requirements is the print format of documents and reports:
• Invoice (bill) format that requires specific columns, notes, page size; even to fit
pre-printed paper
• Purchase Orders with specific formats, terms and conditions
• Documents with various logos
• Reports Tally.ERP 9 generates, with additions and deletions of columns, totals
and so on

For Tally.ERP 9, our partners use Tally Definition Language (TDL) to develop these customistions that you can install locally or deploy automatically to your entire enterprise via the Control Centre.
Tally.ERP 9 will also soon come with a Tally Extender market place where you could buy ready build document formats that meet your specific requirements.
With Shoper 9, partners can use a language of their choice to build a report EXE that will be added to your installed product to deliver the required document format. |
