The Highlights in Shoper 9 Series A Release 2.1 are:
Shoper 9 is enhanced to handle POS & HO inventory feature by introduction of Batch, Grade & Location Management. This feature allows businesses to categorise items based on batches, qualities / grade and storage locations and hence improve stock management. Enabling batches allow capturing manufacturing date, expiry date and shelf life thus simplify ageing management. Facility to maintain batch-wise price and also move stock across batches, grades and locations. Reports are updated to view these categories along with other item details. These features are configurable as per business needs.
Stock and Sales Visibility across Multiple Businesses has simplified data exchange between multi-brand POS locations and different vendors (principals). This feature provides the facility to connect with each principal to receive masters and send the corresponding transaction data. As long as stock numbers are unique across principals, each business can run independently. Businesses can maintain the item attributes as per their logic and not as governed by its principals, using a one-time attribute mapping to establish correlation. In essence, Stock and Sales Visibility across Multiple Businesses lets the principals get the business data they want and the POS locations to operate with their preferred item attributes.
Shoper Main Screen is enhanced with search facility for menu options and run the program from the search result. Facility is provided to create short-cut icons/ button-panels for frequently used menu options on main screen. User-wise security control is available for short-cut icons/ button-panels. The option to add business monitoring summary reports on main screen is provided. Also can add custom reports on main screen.
Sales Promotion is enhanced to allow comprehensive modification options for applicability period, buy items and discounts.
Change Payment Mode is enhanced to modify payment details in bills of active companies without changing the currently logged-in company based on configuration.
The facility to handle multiple currencies and to change the payment mode of multiple bills at one go is provided.
