To create a Stock Item,
Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Info. > Stock Items > Create
Enter the Name of the stock item
Select the Group under which you want to create the stock item
Select the unit of measurement of the stock item in the Units field
Enter the Rate of Duty and Rate of VAT for the stock item
Enter the opening balance if any
Press Y or Enter to accept and save.
